What a stunning morning- we felt lucky to be out there enjoying it.

More lighthouses- although in all fairness I cant remember which ones they are!

We desperately needed some oil for our poorly engine- it seemed to have sprung a leak. So at 0845 we visited Falmouth marina in the hope that they would be able to help us. They were not only helpful but friendly as well, and we were on our way within half an hour. As we sailed out, we were amazed at the sheer size of Falmouth harbour and how beautiful it was. We desperately wanted to stay and explore all the little corners, but we were on this stupid timeline, so we couldn't. It was frustrating to be sailing away.
Still, the weather had calmed down overnight and the sea was lovely- hardly a ripple for much of the day. We sailed at a fairly consistent 6 knots-which is quite fast for us!

We pulled into Plymouth Marina at 1700 and then had to start the excitement of catching trains to various places to collect cars etc- although it wasn't that bad this time as Kat's parents had dropped us in Clovelly so we only needed to get back to North Devon.
