Here we go again, yet another stormy day which we had to sail through. I strongly recommend never ever sailing to a dead line!

We left Newquay at 0640 and turned her west, towards Lands End. This was an exciting day as neither of us had ever passed Lands End by boat before. It also felt like we were breaking the back of the journey.
Our alternator did well for the first 3 hours, but then the engine temp rocketed. We kept the engine on for most of the day as we had a long way to go and wanted it over and done with- which was a shame as we were passing some beautiful coastline.
The sea wasn't too bad at first, although it did build as we got closer to the point- not that you'd believe it from the pictures.
We didn't take many photos, which is unusual for us. What you can see is some of the lighthouses along the way, including Lands End light.
We sailed round LANDS END! Now if thats not a place to evoke stories and visions of stormy seas, I dont know what is! We felt proud, and a little relieved.
We pulled into Falmouth at 2000- what a gorgeous harbour that is. Every marina was closed for the evening, so we pulled into a vacant berth, found our way out of the complex for dinner- some nice guy gave us the code so we could get back in- then we passed out and were off again at first light!
